Thought Canvas is an effort towards creating an environment where children give expression to their thoughts and imaginations by creating or building things. We want to promote ‘hands-on activities’ for children because it not only leads to real learning, spurs imagination and helps catalyze application of one’s ideas and thoughts, but has the potential of also being an immense source of joy, providing a sense of achievement, giving children confidence in their ability to do something on their own. Our vision, therefore, is to instill the spirit of ‘making’ in children and create a movement to spread this far and wide. We believe this can strengthen the spirit of enquiry, innovation and entrepreneurship in children.
